Montego Bay, Jamaica — As the island welcomes a new year, Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter-producer, Yahsha Elishua and CD Master of Inna Mi House Music release their Afro-beat/World single “Overcome,” a sunrise-in-a-song for everyone still climbing out of 2025’s rubble.

As Yahsha Elishua recalls and laments, “I wanted to bottle that energy - no politics, just faith in a song that everyone can dance to.”

Hurricane Melissa snapped power-lines and rooftops, but it couldn’t silence hope. Built on signature kinetic drums and Elishua’s velvet tenor, the track is a three-minute reminder that storms will and does come to an end:
“I am a believer, I’m on solid ground and I am delivered. When the situations come, I overcome.”

The lyrics boasts Afro-beat percussion locks with Jamaican syncopation, creating a world sound that feels at once Kingston, Lagos and the global diaspora.
